
Annette O'Toole spent her childhood in the Houston studio that was run by her mother. When she was a child she made it onto television for her first time, at the age of two. Her mother and she with ten years worth of singing and dancing lessons prior to that, moved to LA for a full year at the age of 13 to test out whether she could be successful on the showbiz. Her first gig as a professional dancing instructor in only two months: Danny Kaye's The Danny Kaye Show. She has utilized her dancing and singing capabilities in various ways. The discipline gained through this training is beneficial to an actor." O'Toole's debut acting gig was in My Three Sons, followed by appearances in Gunsmoke, The Partridge Family, The Mod Squad, as well as Hawaii Five-O. O'Toole has starred in over forty television shows. In spite of her success both in television and film, O'Toole's passion is theater. The actress decided after her six year run on Smallville was done, to devote herself exclusively to theater. It's exactly what she's been doing since at the beginning of this decade. Following her move to New York, she had her debut on stage on Broadway in The Sea Gull. The actress has been featured in several off-Broadway musicals, like Adam Rapp's Kindness and Tracy Letts' Man from Nebraska.
